I am very impressed with the response from the hotel when my 21 year old daughter had food poisoning. With the instruction from the gm, a doctor was called in and the Ind.Rupiah 1,250,000. bill was absorbed by the hotel. Thanks to the Management of Kuta Beach Club. Upon arrival we were given a brand new and tastefully decorated room but we asked for a room nearer the pool which was really acceptable to me since there were only me and my daughter.
What I would like to share with would be visitors is not to get a room with a connecting door if you are not travelling with your kids. The noise from the next room was clearly audible ... from conversations, music to what came after. But a complain to the reception promptly brought the security personnel knocking to inform the occupants to keep their noise level down. Another disappointment is the breakfast buffet which is pretty limited... Since I am from Kuala Lumpur and the hotels here have buffet spread in abundance.
After walking through the hotels foyer which is quite tired looking it was a lovely surprise to see how beautifully kept the gardens were. We also noticed how quiet the place was since the Kuta area is such a busy and noisy place. Overall a nice place to stay for the money and area. Regards Chris
The rooms were clean but very dark with dull lighting. Regards Chris
The hotel was lovely, it doesn't look much from the street but once you step inside you see the traditional Balinese hotel. The pool was great it had a swim up bar and good cocktails. The food was nice, the satay chicken was excellent however the breakfast was ordinary, but great for the price! Initially we had a room with two single beds, the room was old and tatty however, the second night we moved to a queen room that was beautiful and clean, balcony overlooked the pool and the air conditioning was must! This hotel is in a brilliant location central to shops, beach and waterbom park. It is great for those on a budget!
quite, and friendly
bathroom needs maintainance
OK with the star level. A good choice with economic travel with family.
Not much choices for breakfast. The pillows seems time to change for it a bit smelly .
I didnt enjoy it at all. The hotel was old, dirty and the food was disgusting. The facilties were outdated. Pool bar was only open til 7. Rooms were falling apart literally. The hotel staff stuffed up our tour bookings. Mosquitos everywhere and lizards in our rooms. Shotty plumbing and electrical. Yep, wont be returning sorry!
Its location. Kuta area including beach is very easily accessible.
The staff is not courteous as it used be during my earlier visits, especially at restaurant - mostly showing grouchy faces which was quite disappointing. The management of Kuta Beach Club should look into the reasons and solve it quickly to avoid escalation of this problem.
The family friendly atmosphere and the always extremely friendly and help full staff
It is close to the beach, shopping centers, Waterboom etc. Pool is OK.
Breakfast is the same every day and not for Europeans (nevertheless I think that thay are best part of all tourists on Bali). Wi-Fi is availabe in the lobby, near the pool and restaurant only. It is not convinient for whose who have to work during holidays like me, for example. Rooma are required some inside cosmetic repairing.
great, close to everything took 3 16 yr olds could duck off when they wanted close to centro, matahari and markets alll with in 3_-5 mins great
The location to shopping. Size of pool. Baliness feel/gardens
Location is great
Hotel staff wasnt very friendley
Loved the grounds and the size of the rooms. The pool bar was great and the pool area. The staff were very friendly
The pool bar needs to be open longer as it is so relaxing to drink there before going out
I was surprised that the price I paid had no extras....like meals, free spa and massage. Mnay people I spoke to from Oz said they paid no more than $45 with lots of extras thrown in. Even though my stay included a buffet breakfast I found that breakfast was very disappointing with no variety and poorly cooked food. Overall though I enjoyed my stay but felt I paid more than the actual value of the hotel.
Price and breakfast
Very good looking hotel territory - gardens, pool, building, footpath - all looks very harmonic, accurate and pretty. The pool is really good for families with kids. Personnel is very polite and helpful (which is quite common for the most of Bali hotels). Location is also very good for staying inside Kuta - close to Legian and Kartika Plasa streets as well as Kuta beach.
Very poor breakfast - take it only if you don't want to spend much time on eating out. Rooms are not always tidy and need renovation. Room doors are so thin, that you hear everyting happening in the corridor and vice versa.
